Job Description
Applied Research Solutions is looking for a Senior Financial Manager to support the Electronic Warfare Directorate at Robins, AFB. The Financial Management Analyst will support the program office by providing expert financial analysis, budget development, reconciliation support, and documentation preparation. This role requires deep familiarity with DoD financial management regulations, Air Force financial systems, and acquisition processes. The candidate will work closely with USG personnel to improve financial operations, ensure data accuracy, and assist with year-end closeout and program execution activities.

Responsibilities include:
- Apply knowledge of DoDD 5000.01, DoDI 5000.02, DoD Financial Management Regulations, AFI 65 series, AFMC Financial Instructions, and DFAS guidance to all financial tasks
- Prepare program reports, financial documentation, and budget materials
- Analyze financial processes, draw conclusions, and recommend solutions to improve financial management effectiveness and system efficiency
- Develop, update, and maintain program budgets and financial tracking tools
- Analyze ABIDES outputs and maintain historical comparison documentation
- Utilize IDECS/IDECS II to prepare and update Procurement and RDT&E documentation, ensuring alignment with ABIDES data
- Conduct monthly reviews of MIPRs and MORDs in accordance with applicable policy
- Participate in year-end closeout activities, development of PMA budgets, and preparation of quarterly reports
- Use USAF/AFLCMC accounting and contracting systems to perform financial tasks
- Maintain accurate accounting of overtime requests and actuals and brief USG leadership on status
- Research and reconcile financial data using multiple USG databases and supporting documentation
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications/ Technical Experience Requirements:
- Must be a US citizen
- Must have an active Secret Clearance
- Extensive experience with DoD and USAF financial management, accounting systems, and acquisition processes
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills
- Ability to synthesize complex data and present findings clearly
- Experience supporting a government program office or equivalent environment
