Additional information
This is a Security Cooperation (SC) position due to the nature of the position's duties and responsibilities. Incumbent must attain DoD Security Cooperation Workforce (SCW) Certification and complete related continuous learning requirements in accordance with the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) 2017, Title 10 United States Code, Section 384 and DoD Instruction 5132.15, "Implementation of the Security Cooperation Workforce Certification Program". Incumbent must complete DoD SCW Basic-level certification courses within one year.
Veterans Employment Opportunity Act (VEOA): To be eligible for a VEOA appointment under Merit Promotion procedures, the veteran must be a preference eligible or a veteran separated after 3 years or more of continuous active service performed under honorable conditions.

- Evaluate position management in DSCA organizations and satellite offices and provides assistance to supervisors and operating officials on ways to improve structure, work distribution, and the use of employee skills.
- Serve as a full participant in developing, evaluating, improving, issuing, and implementing agency classification and position management regulations, policies, procedures, and other guidance having agency- wide usage and impact.
- Develop, analyze, and classify complex individual and agency-wide position descriptions.
- Conduct position management surveys and studies for assigned organizations.
- Provide authoritative advice and assistance to senior management officials in advance of major reorganizations or significant functional changes.
