Business Analyst
Position Overview:
As a Business Analyst, you will play a key role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products and work directly with customers to identify functional and technical requirements. The candidate should have a background in software development, have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, and be able to communicate technical concepts to non-technical project team members. The candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, project managers, product managers, and customers, to use software development best practices, understand requirements, and develop and implement solutions in Agile environments.
Roles & Responsibilities:
• Perform gap analysis between application functionalities and client requirements
• Facilitate meetings with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into user stories for developers.
• Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and development team
• Lead sprint refinement sessions and maintain backlog of work items in Jira
• Assist in creating and maintaining requirements and business process documentations.
• Develop test plans, test cases, and testing procedures to conduct testing throughout the entire software development lifecycle.
• Develop training materials and deliver training sessions to end users
• Participate in the Agile/Scrum development process.
Qualifications:
• A bachelor’s degree in computer science, mathematics, or other related technical fields is required.
• 5+ years of experience with software development.
• Experience with change management and managing system upgrades or releases.
• Expertise in Agile methodologies for effective application development; SAFE-Agile/Scrum certification is a plus.
• Experience with Jira, Confluence, or other project management and documentation tools.
• Ability to communicate clearly, both verbal and written.
• Ability to collaborate across multiple teams and stakeholders to resolve software issues and identify the scope of testing.
