Summary:
• Develop scalable, production-grade geospatial solutions in cloud-native environments.
• Apply expertise in software engineering, AWS, Python, and data engineering principles.
• Manage complex data pipelines, real-time data processing, and streaming architectures.
• Design and maintain data lakes, data warehouses, and analytics platforms.
• Utilize a range of AWS services and container orchestration technologies.
• Focus on geospatial data processing and advanced spatial algorithm development.
Qualifications & Compensation:
Degree: Technical bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
Years of experience: 7+ years
Salary: $365k+ yearly compensation
Job Description:
• Design, develop, and deploy robust geospatial solutions, ensuring scalability and production readiness.
• Implement and manage efficient ETL/ELT pipelines for diverse datasets, focusing on dataflow optimization.
• Architect and maintain real-time data processing and streaming analytics platforms.
• Design, build, and operate data lakes, cloud repositories, and data warehousing solutions, specializing in big data.
• Utilize a suite of AWS services including DynamoDB, Amazon Redshift, and Amazon Athena.
• Implement and manage container orchestration platforms using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Develop and optimize advanced spatial algorithms for complex geospatial data processing.
• Contribute to software development and overall software architecture for high-performance systems.
• Leverage Python for backend development, scripting, and data manipulation.
• Apply database engineering expertise to design and manage performant data structures.
• Integrate data science principles to extract insights and drive data-driven decision making.
