Candidates must already possess an active Top Secret/SCI w/ CI Polygraph (Springfield VA Customer) to be considered.
Summary:
• Architect, implement, and maintain highly scalable Kafka streaming systems.
• Enable near real-time data ingestion and processing capabilities.
• Develop and implement comprehensive metrics reporting for streaming services.
• Leverage a cloud-first approach to software development, utilizing AWS cloud-native services.
• Focus on streaming analytics within a robust data engineering framework.

- Degree: Technical bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- Years of experience: 3+ years
- Salary: $376k+ yearly compensation
Job Description:
• Design, build, and maintain highly scalable Kafka streaming systems for data ingestion and processing.
• Develop and implement robust metrics and monitoring for streaming services.
• Apply a cloud-first software development approach, leveraging AWS cloud-native services.
• Utilize AWS CDK for Infrastructure as Code (IaC) to manage cloud resources.
• Perform advanced Python development for backend services and data pipelines.
• Design and implement APIs, including Restful Web Services.
• Engage in data engineering activities, including data flow management and processing.
• Work with AWS services such as DynamoDB, Amazon Redshift, and Amazon Athena.
• Develop and manage solutions for data lakes, data warehousing, and analytics platforms.
• Implement and adhere to DevOps practices for continuous integration and deployment.
• Conduct requirements analysis for streaming analytics solutions.
• Possess expertise in cloud repository and big data technologies.
