Summary:
• Manage and optimize cloud infrastructure within an AWS environment, focusing on scalability and reliability.
• Oversee the orchestration and management of Kubernetes containers to support application deployments.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and deployment pipelines for efficient and repeatable processes.
• Ensure continuous monitoring, high availability, and performance optimization of critical services.
• Apply expertise in DevOps principles and Agile software development methodologies to drive team efficiency.
Qualifications & Compensation:
• Degree: Technical bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• Years of experience: 3+ years
• Salary: $222k+ yearly compensation
Job Description:
• Design, implement, and maintain robust cloud infrastructure on AWS.
• Manage and troubleshoot Kubernetes clusters and containerized applications.
• Develop and maintain automation scripts and tools using Bash, Python, and Go.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform and configure systems with Ansible.
• Utilize Git for version control and collaborative development of infrastructure and application code.
• Perform Linux systems administration, including configuration, patching, and security hardening.
• Implement and manage Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipelines.
• Administer and optimize Big Data technologies such as Hadoop, Accumulo, NiFi, Kafka, PostgreSQL, Elasticsearch, Trinio, PrestoDB, and Apache Spark.
• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure the scalability and reliability of all services.
• Apply Agile/Scrum methodologies for project execution and team collaboration.
• Contribute to the full software development lifecycle from design to deployment and maintenance.
