In this role, you will help transform the Minotaur Family of Services (MFoS) into a cloud-enabled, distributed data and decision platform aligned to warfighter needs, enabling real-time data fusion and operational decision advantage across the fleet.
About the role: This role sits at the center of one of the Navy's most important transitions: moving Minotaur data from a platform-centric ISR system into a cloud-enabled, distributed operational capability supporting maritime kill chains.
In this role, you will design and implement cloud architectures that enable MFoS to operate across edge, tactical, and enterprise environments, supporting degraded comms, cross-domain data flows, and real-time mission execution.

- Architect cloud-native and hybrid solutions
- Enable DevSecOps pipelines
- Integrate with cloud environments
- Ensure security across classification levels
Responsibilities:
- Design and implement cloud architectures for MFoS aligned to warfighter needs and distributed maritime operations
- Develop hybrid edge-to-cloud architectures integrating Minotaur Edge Nodes and cloud environments
- Lead containerization and microservice transition of legacy Minotaur components
- Architect solutions across multi-classification environments (TS/SCI, SECRET, UNCLASS), including cloud-based cross-domain considerations
- Implement and optimize DevSecOps pipelines (CI/CD, infrastructure as code, automated security scanning)
- Ensure compliance with DoD cloud standards (ILs 4, 5 & 6+), Zero Trust, and RMF requirements
- Collaborate with AI/ML and data teams to increase efficiency
- Support cloud deployments across environments such as AWS GovCloud, Azure Government, and on-prem tactical compute
- Provide technical leadership and guidance to engineers and stakeholders

Required Skills and Experience:
- 5+ years of experience in cloud architecture, distributed systems, or platform engineering
- Experience designing and deploying solutions in AWS, Azure, or similar cloud environments
- Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and microservices architectures
- Strong understanding of hybrid cloud/edge computing architectures
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, etc.)
- Knowledge of DevSecOps practices and CI/CD pipelines
- Experience working in DoD or IC environments, including RMF and security compliance
- Understanding of networking, data flows, and distributed systems under constrained conditions
- Ability to work in cross-functional teams with engineers, operators, and government stakeholders
Preferred Skills and Experience:
- Experience with Minotaur
- Experience supporting Navy warfighting concepts and associated capabilities
- Familiarity with cross-domain solutions and multi-level security architectures
- Experience with data streaming, event-driven architectures, and real-time analytics
- Exposure to AI/ML pipelines and large-scale data fusion systems
Education and Certification Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field is required
- At least one Cloud certification (AWS Solutions Architect, Azure Architect, etc.) is required
Citizenship and Clearance requirements:
- U.S. Citizenship required
- No dual citizenship
- Active TS/SCI clearance required or active TS and previously held SCI
