Position Description:

The ISSO collaborates with the program security team to support all aspects of system security,
including:

• Apply expert-level Risk Management Framework (RMF) knowledge to support NIST SP 800-53
High/Moderate systems through the A&A process.

• Develop and maintain comprehensive security documentation, including SSPs, POA&Ms, and
Body of Evidence (BOE) artifacts for sponsor approval.

• Identify and implement security controls; partner with engineering and development teams to
create and execute security test plans.

• Conduct and coordinate security audits and testing activities, including external assessments,
ensuring proper collection and review of audit records.

• Configure and support AWS services to maintain and enhance system security posture.

Desired Skills:

• Strong technical, analytical, and system security/risk management expertise.

• Experience securing AWS environments.

• Ability to execute complex technical tasks independently with minimal oversight.

• Experience developing and performing security test plans, analyzing results, and recommending
mitigations.

• Knowledge of system configuration, development, and enterprise/hypervisor-based architectures.

• Proficiency with Linux and virtual platforms.

• Experience collaborating with security organizations and communicating risk and vulnerabilities
to senior leadership.

• Broad knowledge of information security policies, with the ability to evaluate and develop security
guidance.
