Position Description:
Experienced IT Project Manager leading cross-functional teams to plan, execute, and deliver complex programs.
Skilled in project planning, resource allocation, risk management, and governance processes, including A&A and POA&M tracking.
Ensures security compliance, oversees pilot integrations, and supports smooth transitions to operations.
Collaborates with stakeholders, technical teams, and leadership to drive successful program delivery,
while developing training and communication strategies.
Strong background in project management best practices, with excellent organizational, communication, and mentoring abilities.
Mandatory Skills:
Extensive on-the-job knowledge and experience with project management principles, methodologies, and industry best practices, including project planning, resource allocation, risk management, and status reporting.
Proven ability to develop and manage project schedules and resource plans, while identifying and mitigating risks.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, effectively articulating complex project issues to diverse
audiences.
Strong experience managing multiple concurrent projects with tight deadlines and competing priorities, including handling dependencies and prioritizing tasks efficiently.
Advanced ability to identify project challenges, risks, and constraints, and deliver well-developed mitigation strategies.
Hands-on experience leading cross-functional teams, including technical engineers, operational resources, and stakeholders.
Established ability to build and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with customers, stakeholders,
technical teams, and contractors.
In-depth knowledge of project management tools and techniques, including critical path and risk management.
Direct experience managing projects through the accreditation process using ICD-503 to achieve ATO.
Skilled in developing and delivering clear, concise, and informative briefing materials, including slide decks, to a variety of stakeholders.
Desired Skills:
Extensive on-the-job experience developing and managing resource-loaded project schedules using MS Project or similar tools.
Proven experience utilizing enterprise document repositories such as Confluence and SharePoint.
Strong knowledge of Agency enterprise technical architecture, service-oriented architectures, security
requirements, and operating environments.
Broad understanding of Agency IT components, missions, and strategic objectives.
Working familiarity with Intelligence Community (IC) policies, systems, issues, and collaborative environments.
Possession of Agile and/or Scrum certification.
