Must Haves:
· 10–15+ years of combined structural and stress analysis experience
· 10+ years of experience specifically in aircraft structural and stress analysis Aerospace industry experience supporting aircraft structures (fixed‑wing strongly preferred)
· Experience reviewing and approving engineering data for structural integrity, compliance, and airworthiness
· Current or prior FAA delegation in the structures discipline, including: Structural DER, or ODA Structures Unit Member
· Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance


Day to Day:
A company in Greenville, TX is seeking 2 Senior Structural Engineers (ODA and Airworthiness) in the Aircraft Structures / Airworthiness Group. This senior individual contributor role is responsible for reviewing, approving, and certifying aircraft structural modifications and repairs on behalf of the FAA. This position requires an extensive background in aircraft structural and stress analysis, broad exposure to aircraft modifications, and the professional judgment needed to approve engineering data for airworthiness and certification compliance. Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
· Serve as an Engineering Unit Member (EUM) responsible for technical approval of structural aspects of aircraft modifications and repairs
· Review and approve: Engineering drawings, structural and stress substantiation reports, compliance documentation supporting FAA and military approvals
· Coordinate certification and airworthiness activities with other Structures Unit Members, cross‑disciplinary certification team members, engineering organizations seeking certification approval
· Review engineering data for compliance with applicable regulations, standards, and criteria, working collaboratively with engineering teams to address deficiencies
· Participate throughout the program lifecycle, including: early project planning to determine appropriate compliance approach (analysis, testing, or combination), participation in design and technical reviews, final report review and approval, and occasional witnessing of structural and qualification testing
