SALARY REQUIREMENTS

The compensation for this role will be competitive and is aligned with industry standards, taking into consideration factors such as experience, education, and geographic location. The base salary range for this position is $ 189,000 ,000 to $ 238 ,000 (USD), exclusive of any discretionary bonuses and benefits.
JOB DESCRIPTION
MissionEdge Technologies seeks a Software Engineer with an experienced technical lead background who enjoys working on complex products. Will be the technical lead for a team of software engineers and DevOps engineers to provide solutions to the mission customer. This opportunity offers up to 16 hours per week of teleworking based on available tasking at the discretion of leadership.

Work is typically based in a busy office environment and subject to frequent interruptions. Business work hours are normally set from Monday through Friday 8:00am to 5:00pm, however some extended or weekend hours may be required. Additional details on the precise hours will be informed to the candidate from the Program Manager/Hiring Manager.
Employees are required to notify management in advance of any plans to relocate out of state to ensure compliance with company policies and applicable employment regulations.
Physical Requirements:
May be required to lift and carry items weighting up to 25 lbs. Requires intermittent standing, walking, sitting, squatting, stretching and bending throughout the workday.
Background Screening/Check/Investigation:
Successful Completion of a Background Screening/Check/Investigation will be required as a condition of hire.

Minimum Required Qualifications:
- Due to the nature of this position and the information that employees will be required to access; U.S. Citizenship is required.
- Active TS/SCI w/ polygraph
- Twenty (20) years' experience as a SWE in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required. Four (4) years of additional SWE experience on projects with similar software processes may be substituted for a bachelor's degree.
- Experience using the Linux command line interface.
- Experience developing microservices using Java and Spring.
- Experience developing and maintaining NiFi workflows, creating custom processors, and coordinating with DevOps team to increase processing cluster to keep with velocity and volume of data.
- Experience with containerization technologies including Docker.
- Experience with container orchestration technologies such as Kubernetes.
- Experience using system monitoring tools including Grafana and Prometheus.
- Experience using Git for version control.
Desired/Preferred Skills:
- Experience with continuous integration and continuous delivery principles and tools such as GitLab CI and ArgoCD.
- Experience with OpenSearch or Elasticsearch for data indexing and retrieval.
- Experience with NiFi for dataflow management and ingestion.
- Experience with the Amazon HCI platform.
- Strong debugging, documentation, and communication skills.
- Ability to operate effectively in an Agile development environment and on a multi-disciplinary team.
