You will provide Systems Engineering recommendations and lead the planning and execution of Systems Security Engineering efforts for complex software and hardware airborne vehicle and ground systems.

Responsibilities
- Lead cyber systems engineering teams in the execution of statement of work, cost, schedule, and scope
- Advise technical decision-making to ensure timely, high-quality deliveries and successful flight test events aligned with mission requirements
- Partner and collaborate with engineering leadership and Program Office stakeholders to meet contract and mission objectives
- Lead development and enhancement activities for the Sentinel system with a team of specialized Cybersecurity Systems Engineers
- Ensure weapon system compliance with all applicable cybersecurity standards and guidance, including CNSSI 1253, DoD 8140/8570, DoD 8510, and AFI 17-101
- Prioritize, develop, and document standard systems engineering processes and procedures
- Lead technical reviews for engineering review boards, ensuring requirements accuracy, design quality, technical correctness, and compliance prior to higher-level reviews
- Lead cybersecurity assessment activities and develop, review, and approve assessment methods, plans, procedures, and reports
- Track and report program metrics and progress toward milestones; monitor compliance to cybersecurity plans and schedules; identify risks and recommend mitigation strategies
- Apply analytical and evaluative methods to assess the efficiency and effectiveness of cybersecurity implementation
- Solve complex, cross-disciplinary problems in an Agile/DevSecOps environment
- Communicate effectively with diverse technical and non-technical stakeholders, including negotiating challenging requirements and resolving conflicting priorities
- Collaborate closely with Program Managers and System Program Office (SPO) customer representatives to meet program objectives
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical discipline with 14 years of relevant experience, or
- Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical discipline with 12 years of relevant experience, or
- PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical discipline with 10 years of relevant experience
- Advanced knowledge of Systems Security Engineering practices, network technologies, DoD system development life cycles, and IT infrastructure management and monitoring
- 8+ years of experience in a Systems Engineering leadership role with responsibility for cost, schedule, and scope
- 8+ years of hands-on experience in design, implementation, integration, testing, and verification across avionics, hardware/software engineering, or electrical design
- Active DoD Secret clearance
- Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Top Secret/SCI clearance
- Ability to obtain and maintain SAP access
- Ability to obtain full DoD 8570 IASAE Level III qualification within 6 months of hire
