ASRC Federal Cyber is looking for a Network Operations Lead r esponsibleto manage all resources of the Network Engineering Team assigned to the Dental Information Systems Center (DISC) Corporate Dental System (CDS) which serves our worldwide network of users. Directly responsible to ensure all CDS infrastructure is operational and maintains a 24/7/365 system uptime to the maximum extent possible. This position requires the ability to define project scope, objectives, detailed work plans, provide project status updates and identifies project impediments and risks. This position is also the interface between the DISC/CDS and external IT support agencies (COOP, DHA IT support, and DNOC)

- Knowledge of SAN, VMware, Microsoft Windows Server, Exchange, - SQL

This position requires the candidate to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance. In order to obtain a clearance, you need to be a United States citizen and show proof of citizenship.

Responsibilities:
- Manage all Engineering Team members to ensure efficient utilization of all personnel
- Coordinate the efforts of the various team members to maximize productivity
- Coordinates with the Information Assurance team on all matters of Cyber Security
- Ensures the upkeep, configuration, and reliable operation of all servers (virtual and physical)
- Ensures Network Engineer maintains network assets (switches, IP plans, PPS requests)
- Ensures MECM Administrator maintains an effective patching program
- Monitors the SQL Administrators to ensure SQL Databases are current, available and backed-up
- Ensures the Desktop Support function maintains EUDs in a DHA approved image and GPO
- Ensures Active Directory and associated GPOs are maintained to ensure correct systems access
- Ensure technical safeguards are maintained to provide controlled user access, integrity of electronic mail, applications and user data
- Maintain situational awareness on all activities associated with the network and server infrastructure
- Maintain industry and market awareness of network and other technology trends, product advancements and standards
- Review engineering design and evaluations of current and potential network systems
- Assist in addressing any issues brought up by office staff regarding network or server issues
- Supervise the implementation and maintenance of network hardware in an enterprise environment
- Act as an escalation point for team members as well as other business units when necessary
- Assist in the development, implementation and monitoring of policies and controls as they pertain to network systems to ensure data accuracy, security and regulatory compliance
- Lead in the design and development of network and server systems and redesign of existing systems to fulfill the needs of customers and the business
- Participate in the development and implementation of disaster recovery procedures as they pertain to the network infrastructure
- Participate in the development of standards of use, operations and the security of company technology including the network, individual computers, servers and company data
- Lead the communication with other departments in reporting and resolving network and telecommunications software, hardware and operational issues
- Prepares and delivers informal and formal presentations as required
- Creates status reports for all key stakeholders including Program Management staff
- Additional duties and responsibilities as assigned by manager
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Management / Computer Science or equivalent experience
- 6+ years' relevant experience.
- Must have Security+ certification or capable of passing Security+ certification exam
- 2+ years of experience in an IT Technical discipline (Network Administration, Network +, A+, VMWare ect)

- Experience in the following technologies would be a major plus
