Job Description
Insight Global is hiring a Voice/Telecom Technician ( specifically a DRSN Technician) to join our team supporting a global voice and telecom systems used by multiple branches of the military.
This is an Onsite, Night shift Panama role working 12 hour shifts from 6PM - 6AM. Work days will follow the typical Panama shift (Two days on, two day off; three days on 2 days off; then 2 days on 3 days off) allowing for every other weekend off.

This person will be delivering 24/7 mission-critical voice and data communications for senior DoD leadership. This role is responsible for engineering, maintaining, and troubleshooting secure telecommunications systems, performing COMSEC duties, monitoring circuit health, and supporting outage restoration efforts. The technician works closely with multiple work centers to ensure continuous availability of highly sensitive networks and operates in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment where reliability and precision are essential. This is a full-time overnight position supporting national defense operations
Minimum Job requirements include:
Must Haves
• Active DoD TS/SCI security clearance
• Active Security+ CE or equivalent DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification
• Bachelor’s degree and 2+ years of relevant experience OR additional experience/training in lieu of a degree)
• Hands-on experience installing, testing, and troubleshooting IT communications equipment
• Experience supporting voice/data circuits, including fault isolation and service restoration
• Strong communication skills and ability to operate in a high-tempo, mission-critical environment
Plusses, but not required:
• Direct, hands-on experience with the Defense Red Switch Network (DRSN) in a command center environment
• Background in Cryptographic Systems, Tech Control, C4I Systems, or Nuclear Command and Control (NC2)
• Experience with COMSEC operations, including crypto device configuration and maintenance
• Experience in network planning and engineering, including circuit installs, modifications, and deactivations
• Familiarity with communications testing tools (Tone Generators, VoIP testers, BERTs, scopes, multimeters)
• Experience developing and executing contingency, restoration, and continuity of operations plans
Exact salary will vary based on candidates level of experience, expertise and clearance level. We expect to pay 90K - 115K for this role along with a standard Health, Vision, Dental, and 401K Benefits package.
