About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Data Scientist to join a collaborative, mission-driven technical team focused on solving complex problems through advanced analytics and innovation. This role supports data-driven decision-making in a defense-focused environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and maintain scalable data pipelines and analytical models
- Perform statistical analysis, machine learning, and exploratory data analysis
- Develop dashboards and reports using tools such as Tableau or Power BI
- Collaborate with engineering and business teams to translate requirements into analytical solutions
- Mentor team members and evaluate emerging data science techniques
- Establish data governance, quality standards, and reproducibility practices

This role may be filled at the Principal or Senior Principal Data Scientist level.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in STEM with 5+ years of experience, master's with 3+ years, or PhD with 1+ year
(Additional experience may be considered in lieu of degree) - Active DoD Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility
- Strong background in statistics, machine learning, and data modeling
- Proficiency in Python/R, SQL, Spark or Hadoop
- U.S. Citizenship required
- Experience with data visualization tools and libraries
- Familiarity with cloud analytics platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
Preferred Qualifications
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Experience mentoring and influencing cross-functional teams
- Knowledge of cybersecurity standards (NIST, RMF)
- SAP access (Spartan preferred)
