Position Overview
Staffed4U is recruiting on behalf of a client for a talented Cloud Systems Administrator (Level 2) to support a mission-critical program in Annapolis Junction, MD.
This is a fully funded, long-term opportunity supporting a high-impact environment where you’ll work with modern cloud infrastructure and DevOps practices. The ideal candidate brings strong systems administration experience along with hands-on exposure to AWS and automation.
Key Responsibilities
Administer and support enterprise systems in both cloud and on-prem environments
Deploy, manage, and optimize AWS cloud infrastructure
Support DevOps initiatives, including CI/CD pipelines and automation efforts
Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure system reliability
Perform system patching, hardening, and security compliance activities
Collaborate with engineering teams on system improvements and scalability
Support system upgrades, migrations, and integration efforts
Required Qualifications
Active TS/SCI clearance with Full Scope Polygraph
Minimum 10 years of Systems Administrator experience supporting programs of similar size and complexity
Experience working in AWS environments
Exposure to or experience with DevOps tools and practices
Strong knowledge of Linux and/or Windows administration
Education
Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline
OR
Five (5) additional years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with scripting or automation tools
Familiarity with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes)
Experience in highly secure, classified environments
Compensation & Benefits
$150,000 – $168,000 base salary
15% employer 401(k) contribution
