Candidates must already possess an active Top Secret/SCI w/ Full Scope Polygraph to be considered.
Summary:
• Lead the development and enhancement of complex software systems and algorithms.
• Manage and optimize large-scale data sets and associated processing.
• Conduct thorough software testing, requirements analysis, and architecture design.
• Utilize a broad range of modern technologies including Java, Spring, RESTful Web Services, MongoDB, Angular, AWS, Rancher, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Oversee database engineering activities and provide technical team leadership.
• Offer critical support for systems and hardware engineering efforts.
Qualifications & Compensation:
• Degree: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering or related discipline. A degree may be substituted for 4 additional years of experience.
• Years of experience: 8+ years
• Salary: $261k+ yearly compensation
Job Description:
• Lead the design, development, and enhancement of software systems and algorithms.
• Perform comprehensive software testing, requirements analysis, and architectural design.
• Manage and optimize large data sets, including dataflow design and implementation.
• Utilize expertise in Java, Spring, and RESTful Web Services for backend development.
• Develop robust front-end interfaces using Angular (Angular.js, Angular2, Angular4).
• Implement and manage solutions within AWS cloud environments.
• Leverage containerization and orchestration technologies, including Rancher, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Oversee database engineering, including design, implementation, and maintenance of MongoDB and other databases.
• Provide strong technical team leadership, mentoring developers and guiding project execution.
• Collaborate with systems and hardware engineering teams, providing integration and test (I&T) support.
• Apply principles of Software Configuration Management (SCM) and DevOps for continuous integration and delivery.
• Apply advanced mathematical concepts to complex problem-solving and algorithm development.
• Develop and maintain clear technical documentation and communicate effectively across teams.
