Database Administrator (Oracle) – TS/SCI with Poly | 100% Remote
About the Opportunity
Staffed4U is seeking a highly experienced Database Administrator (DBA) on behalf of our client, a leader in supporting mission-critical national security programs. This role is ideal for a seasoned Oracle expert who thrives in secure, high-performance environments.
This is a fully remote position supporting classified programs. Candidates must hold an active TS/SCI clearance with Full Scope Polygraph.
Key Responsibilities
Design, implement, and maintain Oracle database environments supporting enterprise-level systems
Perform database monitoring, performance tuning, and capacity planning
Ensure data integrity through effective backup, recovery, and security practices
Install, configure, patch, and upgrade Oracle database platforms
Troubleshoot and resolve database issues across multiple environments
Support high availability solutions such as Oracle RAC and Data Guard
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers, engineers, and cybersecurity personnel
Maintain documentation for system configurations and procedures
Ensure compliance with federal and security standards
Required Qualifications
10+ years of experience as a Database Administrator
Strong hands-on experience with Oracle (11g/12c/19c or newer)
Active TS/SCI clearance with Full Scope Polygraph (required)
Oracle Certification (required) (OCP, OCM, or equivalent)
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
Experience with backup/recovery tools (e.g., RMAN)
Proven expertise in database performance tuning and optimization
Experience working in Linux/Unix environments
Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Oracle Cloud)
Scripting experience (Bash, Python, or similar)
Background supporting federal or intelligence community environments
Familiarity with DevOps tools and automation
Work Environment
