Job Description

**ACTIVE TS/SCI SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIRED**

If you've spent years mastering geospatial analysis and want to multiply your impact — not just do the work, but build the people who do it — this role was made for you. As a Senior GEOINT Analyst Trainer and Subject Matter Expert, you won't be sitting behind a desk writing reports. You'll be on the ground with analyst teams, solving real problems, closing real gaps, and leaving every team you touch sharper than you found them.

This is a TS/SCI-required position supporting a high-priority Intelligence customer, with a primary location in Springfield, VA (St. Louis, MO and Arnold, MO also available).

What You'll Own

  • Be the expert in the room. Serve as the go-to GEOINT SME for geospatial analysis, imagery workflows, and tradecraft — advising both analysts and technical teams.

  • Get in the trenches with analyst teams. Observe real workflows, understand mission pain points, and identify exactly where tools and processes can perform better.

  • Deliver training that actually sticks. Lead hands-on instruction and mentorship tailored to how operational teams work — not one-size-fits-all classroom content.

  • Fix what's broken. Identify inefficiencies and gaps, then recommend and implement practical improvements that directly enhance mission effectiveness.

  • Bridge the gap. Act as the connector between technical teams and analysts to ensure capabilities are understood, adopted, and aligned to mission needs.

  • Build lasting resources. Develop training materials, job aids, and best practice documentation that teams can use long after you've moved on to the next engagement.

  • Champion GEOINT fusion. Support cross-discipline integration and help teams get the most out of multi-source intelligence and ESRI-based platforms like ArcGIS.

  • Stay ahead of the curve. Keep pace with evolving GEOINT tools, tradecraft, and analytic methodologies — and bring that knowledge back to the teams who need it.

📍 Travel is a regular part of this role — training happens where analysts work, and that means going to them.

What You Bring

Experience & Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Geography, GIS, Intelligence Studies, or a related field — or equivalent hands-on experience

  • 8+ years of GEOINT experience with a strong geospatial analysis foundation

Required

  • Deep, real-world experience in Geospatial Analyst (GA) roles and workflows

  • Working knowledge of Imagery Analyst (IA) roles and workflows

  • Experience in operational or mission-focused environments beyond national-level agencies (tactical, service-level, or partner organizations)

  • Proven ability to deliver training, mentorship, or instruction to analyst teams

  • Hands-on proficiency with ESRI tools (ArcGIS suite)

  • Strong grasp of GEOINT tradecraft, analytic methodologies, and multi-source intelligence integration

  • Excellent communication skills — equally effective with analysts and technical stakeholders

Bonus Points

  • Experience developing formal training programs or curriculum

  • Familiarity with integrating geospatial tools into operational and mission systems

  • Exposure to emerging GEOINT technologies and data sources

  • Data visualization and dashboarding concepts

  • Background supporting government or defense programs

  • Experience working across diverse analyst communities and organizations

What You Need to Know

  • Clearance: Active TS/SCI required

  • Citizenship: U.S. Citizenship required

  • Location: Customer site — Springfield, VA (preferred); St. Louis, MO or Arnold, MO also available

  • Travel: Required regularly
