• You will ensure the assigned human resources management activities of NCIS are conducted in compliance with laws and regulations governing the management of civilian employees.
• You will seek opportunities to improve individual and organizational performance through process changes and/or employee training.
• You will recommend changes to personnel assignments to enhance efficiency and to improve timeliness and quality of performance.
• You will prepare regular performance reports and publish data through a stop-light and/or other reporting format.
• You will provide input to budget and other resource planning events to ensure adequacy of human and capital investments.

• This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
• Supervisors in the executive branch have a heightened personal responsibility for advancing government ethics. You will be required to review the 14 General Principles of Ethical Conduct at 5 CFR 2635.101.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: providing expert program management in a broad variety of Human Resources (HR) functional areas including policy, direction, and managerial issues; and overseeing the daily operations of HR services for an organization.
