ASRC Federal Technical Solutions LLC is looking for a Secret or higher cleared Logistics Planner to join our team in Colorado Springs, CO. The selected candidate will be responsible for providing critical support to NORTHCOM. The Logistics Planner will be supporting logistical planning, coordination, and execution support for Security Cooperation activities with the Mexican military (MEXMIL) in support of the J45 SC Mil to MIL Program Manager.

The selected candidate's responsibilities will include the following:
  • Develop, manage, and execute comprehensive logistics plans that support all phases of security cooperation activities with MEXMIL, including training, equipping, sustainment, and institutional capacity-building efforts conducted under Title 10 authorities. This includes creating detailed logistics estimates, concepts of support, and annexes for operational plans and case files.
  • Serve as the primary logistics planner for all assigned security cooperation events. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
    • 1) Event Logistics: Planning and coordinating all logistical requirements for training events, exercises, and key leader engagements, to include venue selection, transportation, lodging, messing, and delivery of necessary supplies and training aids
    • 2) Equipment Transfers: Managing the end-to-end logistics of equipment transfers, from initial staging and joint inventory to final delivery and hand-receipt with MEXMIL partners
    • 3) Operational Support: Coordinating logistical support for operational activities, ensuring the right personnel, equipment, and materiel are in the right place at the right time to meet mission objectives
  • Serve as a central point of contact to synchronize logistics efforts and resolve issues among key stakeholders. This includes:
    • 1) facilitating regular logistics synchronization meetings, VTCs, and planning teams with representatives from the Military Group (MILGP) Mexico, U.S. Embassy Country Team, N&NC component commands, and MEXMIL (DEFENSA/MARINA) counterparts
    • 2) Proactively identifying and analyzing potential logistical constraints (e.g., transportation bottlenecks, infrastructure limitations, security risks, or bureaucratic delays) and developing mitigation strategies
  • Provide in-depth logistical analysis to develop innovative and effective support solutions tailored to the unique challenges of the U.S.-Mexico security partnership. This involves:
    • 1) conducting detailed analyses of the U.S.-Mexico border environment, including infrastructure assessments, route analyses, and security considerations
    • 2) developing and briefing multiple courses of action (COAs) to decision-makers that address specific MEXMIL operational requirements while maximizing efficiency and cost-effectiveness
  • Support the long-term readiness and operational availability of U.S.-provided equipment. This includes:
    • 1) assisting MEXMIL in developing life-cycle sustainment plans, preventive maintenance schedules, and spare parts inventories for granted equipment
    • 2) coordinating with program offices and original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) to address warranty issues, technical support, and spare parts procurement
    • 3) contributing to efforts that build MEXMIL's organic capacity and capability in logistics management, maintenance, and supply chain operations.
  • Support logistics-focused training, workshops, and mentorship activities for MEXMIL personnel. This may include preparing training materials, delivering informal instruction on logistics best practices, and facilitating subject matter expert exchanges.
  • Create and maintain all necessary logistics documentation to support mission execution, assessment, and historical record-keeping. Key deliverables include:
    • 1) drafting and staffing logistics-focused briefing materials for N&NC leadership
    • 2) preparing after-action reports (AARs) with a focus on logistical successes, challenges, and lessons learned
    • 3) maintaining a comprehensive database and status tracker for all ongoing and planned logistics activities and equipment transfers


Qualified candidates must meet the following requirements:
  • This is an onsite position located in Colorado Springs, CO
  • Must have an active U.S. Government DoD Secret security clearance or higher. Candidates without a minimum of an active Secret clearance will not be considered.
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university or additional years of relevant professional experience.
  • 6+ years' experience in DoD logistics planning and execution, with at least 2+ years focused on security cooperation.
  • Requires strong analytical and communication skills for developing logistics solutions and coordinating with diverse stakeholders.
  • Experience with direct coordination with foreign partners (e.g., MILGPs, partner militaries, etc.) and knowledge of the logistical challenges associated with cross-border equipment transfers is highly desired
