Job Description
Position- Network Engineer
Location- Reston, VA
Clearance- FSP clearance required.
Network Engineering:
• The Contractor shall monitor network engineering performance and ensure system availability and reliability.
• The Contractor shall configure and install various network devices and services such as routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, and VPN.
• The Contractor shall perform network maintenance and system upgrades including service packs, patches, and security configurations.
• The Contractor shall work with, develop, and deliver cloud based IT systems or transition systems and processes to the cloud.
Network Engineering :
• Demonstrated experience designing, deploying and sustaining secure local- and wide-area network solutions.
• Demonstrated experience with and in depth knowledge of networking protocols, TCP/IP, and security protocols.
• Demonstrated experience with and knowledge of infrastructure and virtualizations technologies.
• Demonstrated experience and knowledge of routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, VPNs, and performing network upgrades.
• Demonstrated experience analyzing user needs and developing network and infrastructure solutions.
• Demonstrated experience utilizing complex network analysis tools to resolve complex network performance problems.
