Position Summary
Base-2 Solutions is seeking a Systems Administrator 4 to support a mission-focused team responsible for maintaining applications, services, microservices, Platform as a Service (PaaS), and support services. This role supports the maintenance and enhancement of current application capabilities, helps identify future capability needs, and supports efforts to improve the effectiveness, quality, and robustness of the underlying technology. The work directly supports intelligence analysis and collection management for intelligence analysts and operators across the Intelligence Community and Combatant Commands. The Systems Administrator 4 is responsible for the design and implementation of systems, mission architecture, and associated hardware, and must possess an expert understanding of system administration interdependencies within a Service Oriented Architecture (SOA).

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Perform systems administration of desktop and server systems connected to local and wide area networks.
- Manage desktop systems, including account monitoring, security, operating system installation, and other local area system administration functions.
- Provide support for the implementation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of IT systems.
- Participate in developing and delivering training, as requested by the government, to support applications.
- Review documentation for completeness, accuracy, and correctness; witness testing requirements; present IV&V results; troubleshoot technical problems; and make recommendations to improve overall quality.
- Provide support to IT systems, including day-to-day operations, monitoring, and problem resolution for client, server, storage, network, and mobile devices.
- Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 problem identification, diagnosis, and resolution.
- Provide support for the escalation and communication of status to agency management and internal customers.
- Provide support for the dispatch system and hardware problems and remain involved in the resolution process.
- Configure and manage UNIX and Windows operating systems.
- Install and load operating system and application software.
- Isolate and resolve hardware and software problems involving applications, operating systems, hardware, communications infrastructure, or any combination thereof.
- Troubleshoot, maintain integrity of, and configure network components, and implement operating system enhancements to improve reliability and performance.
- Integrate new technologies into new and existing systems, including the transition and migration of corporate systems.
Required Qualifications
- Active TS/SCI with CI Polygraph.
- Possess an expert working knowledge and understanding of system administration interdependencies as part of a Service Oriented Architecture (SOA).
- Analyze and resolve complex problems associated with server hardware, applications, and software integration.
- Be DoD 8570 compliant at IAT/IAM Level 2.
- Have experience working on a development team under DoD Risk Management Framework.
- Demonstrate understanding of Oracle and/or CENTOS-based architecture.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in information technology or information management and twelve years of comparable work experience.
- Have up to ten or more years of program or application operations experience.
- Have experience in the Intelligence Community.
- Be analytical and able to prioritize needs, requirements, and other issues effectively.
- Demonstrate strong risk management, communication, teamwork, and conflict management skills.

Required Certifications
