Job Description
MUST HAVE PALANTIR PRODUCT EXPERIENCE IN ORDER TO BE CONSIDERED BY CLIENT
Location: Washington DC
Duration: long-term contract through Insight Global
Pay Range: $60-70/hr
Day-to-Day
A mission-driven defense technology organization supporting U.S. Government customers is seeking a Data / Field Service Representative (FSR) Analyst to join an expanding on-site team in Washington, D.C. This role is open due to continued platform adoption and increased demand from operational users, requiring additional analyst support at the customer level.
You will serve as a front-line partner to intelligence analysts and operators, working side-by-side with users to ensure successful adoption and daily use of an enterprise data and analytics platform. This is a highly visible, customer-facing role where you will train, mentor, and embed with user groups to deeply understand workflows, surface gaps, and help translate operational needs into analytical use cases.
Day-to-day responsibilities include providing desk-side and classroom-style training, building initial dashboards, assisting users in shaping analytical questions, and troubleshooting technical issues in coordination with engineering teams. You will staff the Help Desk, respond to user requests, and consistently communicate product performance, user feedback, and issues back to internal teams.
This role frequently involves embedding with users domestically and internationally (up to 25% travel) and working within small, agile support teams closely aligned with engineers and product stakeholders. Analysts in this position gain deep exposure to real-world operational problems, making it a strong opportunity for those seeking long-term growth, expanded mission scope, and advancement into senior FSR, operations, or product-facing roles within cleared environments.
Must-Haves
• Prior hands-on experience with enterprise data or analytics platforms
• Background in operations, intelligence, or analyst support roles
• Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly
• Comfortable working directly with end users in high-visibility environments
• Ability to work independently and as part of a distributed team
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally up to 25%
• U.S. Citizenship and TS/SCI clearance eligibility
Plusses
• Military, Special Operations, or Law Enforcement experience
• Experience briefing senior military or government stakeholders
• Experience fusing intelligence capabilities in support of operations
• Technical working knowledge of Python, Java, or JavaScript/TypeScript
