To qualify based on your experience, your resume must describe one year of specialized experience that demonstrates the possession of knowledge, skills, abilities, and competencies necessary for immediate success in the position. Such experience is typically in or directly related to the work of the position to be filled.
Specialized experience would be demonstrated by advising leadership by analyzing plans, policies, and programs on global force resources and management issues; identifying and assessing operational risks and developing mitigation recommendations to address cyber operations; reviewing, analyzing and interpreting a wide variety of directives to establish guidance for dissemination among the organization; and developing and maintaining plans that have short term and continuous long-term impacts.

Additional information
- Advises leaders on force resourcing and management issues associated with proposed approaches, and as indicated by analyses, recommends optimized alternatives.
- Contributes expertise in application of concepts, regulations, policies, and processes governing the commitment of Cyber workforce assets to planned actions.
- Assesses and recommends analytical methods and courses of action (COAs) to be employed to define workforce requirements.
- Contributes to the planning, execution, and after-action analysis of Joint exercises used, in part, to assess the effectiveness of GFM strategies.
- Represents the interests of the Command and its special role in the cyberspace program and makes substantive contributions to these groups' analyses and recommendations.
- Develops and maintains the personnel annexes for a variety of contingency, emergency, and mobilization plans.
Conditions of employment
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- Incumbent must be able to obtain and maintain Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information access and must complete a counterintelligence scope polygraph exam.
- Three year trial/probationary period may be required.
- Incumbent will he required to be available for other than normal duty hours to include weekends to support exercises and crisis planning.
- TDY will be required up to 10% of the time. Incumbent may be required to travel by military and/or commercial aircraft in the performance of assigned tasks.
- Must successfully pass urinalysis screening for illegal drug use prior to appointment and periodically thereafter according to AR 600-85, Alcohol and Drug Abuse Prevention and Control Program.

- Incumbent (or Selectee) is required to satisfactorily complete the appropriate training and obtain the required certification/recertification for this position as outlined in DoDM 8140.03 Cyberspace Workforce Qualification and Management Program dated 15 February 2023.
- In accordance with DoDM 8140.03 and supplemental Army guidance, the employee must obtain and maintain the following requirements for each Cyber work role (except Data, AI, and/or Software Engineering) at the assigned proficiency level: 1) Foundational qualification requirements within 9 months, 2) Resident qualification requirements within 12 months, 3) 20 hours of Continuous Professional Development (CPD) per work role code (which can overlap).
