To qualify based on your experience, your resume must describe one year of specialized experience that demonstrates the possession of knowledge, skills, abilities, and competencies necessary for immediate success in the position. Such experience is typically in or directly related to the work of the position to be filled. Specialized experience would be demonstrated by providing guidance and in-depth analysis on cyberspace program strategy, plans and policy; leading efforts to document, evaluate, and improve work processes; and developing cyberspace operations guidance utilizing automated systems.

Additional information
- Provides recognized-expert consulting support for joint strategy, policy, and doctrine development and program support reviews to assure offensive and defensive Operations, Activities and Investments (OAIs) provide the desired results.
- Provides expert consulting to the development, review, coordination and cross-regional integration/de-confliction of cyber warfare-related operation-level plans (OPLANs) and orders (OPORDERs).
- Engages in joint campaigning, contingency, Defensive Cyber Operations (DCO) planning and strategic assessments with senior cyberspace operations Subject Matter Experts (SMEs).
- Makes effective use of the Joint Operations Planning Process (JOPP) to ensure proposed plans are defined and documented to facilitate and capture results of the iterative review process.
- Provides authoritative assessments of and assists in the development and integration of supporting annexes in OPLANs and other contingency and crisis action plans.
- Coordinates, develop and advocate for existing, emerging and long-range issues related to cyberspace operations planning, strategy, policy, doctrine, and organizations.
- Ensure effective integration of cyberspace operations as a critical element of broad-based war fighting plans.
Conditions of employment
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- Three year trial/probationary period may be required.
- Employee may be recalled to duty, required to work other than normal duty hours, which may include evenings, weekends, and/or holidays, and may be required to work overtime. Call back and emergency duty are regular requirements of this position.
- Work may occasionally require travel away from the normal duty station up to 10% of the time and travel may be on military and/or commercial aircraft.
- The employee must be able to obtain and maintain a TOP SECRET SCI clearance as a condition of employment and must complete a counterintelligence scope polygraph exam.
- This is a Drug Testing Designated Position. This position is covered by the Alcohol and Drug Abuse Prevention and Control Program.
- Call back and emergency duty are regular requirements of this position.
- The incumbent must meet NSA personnel security requirements outlined in NSA/CSS Policy5-1.
