Job Description
The Red Gate Group is seeking a Senior Financial Manager to support a non-personal services contract providing Research, Development, Test and Evaluation (RDT&E) Engineering and Technical Support (RETS) to the Office of the Under Secretary of War for Research and Engineering (USW(R&E)). In this role, the selected candidate will contribute to advancing the Department of War's research, engineering, and technology innovation priorities by supporting key initiatives across science and technology, mission capabilities, and commercial technology integration. This effort supports senior leadership in driving cutting-edge research, prototyping, experimentation, and technology transition to maintain a strategic advantage for the joint force.

Responsibilities
- Lead SAP-related project management activities, including coordination, stakeholder engagement, and data-driven analysis to support program execution.
- Provide financial oversight and strategic guidance for large-scale technology programs exceeding $100M, spanning design, manufacturing, integration, and testing phases.
- Manage and communicate program financial performance to stakeholders, ensuring transparency and alignment with organizational priorities.
- Utilize and support financial and program systems including AF SAP CORE, CV2, and SAFES to track, analyze, and report program data.
- Apply financial management policies, procedures, and standards to ensure compliance and effective budget execution.
- Support or lead portfolios of technology development programs with a focus on financial planning and performance management.
Requirements
- Active TS/SCI Security Clearance
- Master's degree in any field of study.
- Fifteen (15) years of experience in SAP project management, project liaison functions, and statistical analysis.
- Ten (10) years of experience providing financial oversight and managing stakeholder communications for large-scale technology programs valued at over $100M.
- Eight (8) years of experience working with Air Force Special Access Program CORE (AF SAP CORE), Capability Viewpoint 2 (CV2), and Specialized Accounting and Finances Enterprise System (SAFES).
- Five (5) years of experience applying policies, procedures, and standards from SAF/FMBIB or leading portfolios of technology development programs.
