System Administrator (SA) – Level 3

The Opportunity

NineFX is seeking a System Administrator Level 3 to support, secure, and optimize enterprise IT systems across AWS, Linux, and Windows environments. This role includes cloud administration, automation, server management, and Tier 1/Tier 2 support within a mission critical, highly secure environment.


What You’ll Be Doing

Linux & AWS Administration
• Administer and troubleshoot Linux distributions (RHEL 8/9, Amazon Linux 2023)
• Deploy and maintain AWS resources (EC2, S3, VPC, IAM, etc.)
• Support and integrate cloud and on prem systems

Automation & Scripting
• Develop and maintain automation using SaltStack, Ansible, Bash, and Python
• Streamline configuration management, deployment workflows, and provisioning

Windows & Active Directory Administration
• Administer Windows Server 2019/2022, including AD, DNS, Certificate Authorities
• Manage and support Windows 10/11 clients
• Configure/manage UNIX and Windows systems; load OS software and maintain compliance

Core System Administration
• Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 troubleshooting, diagnosis, and resolution
• Support day to day operations across client/server, storage, network, and mobile systems
• Manage system configuration, monitoring, performance, and capacity planning
• Maintain system integrity, implement OS patches, troubleshoot hardware/software issues
• Implement, troubleshoot, and maintain IT systems
• Provide detailed analysis for escalated issues
• Support system design, mission architecture, and hardware integration
• Resolve complex issues involving server hardware, applications, and system integration
• Optimize system operations and resource utilization


What You’ll Bring

• Fifteen (15) years of System Administrator experience supporting similar programs
• Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline
• OR five (5) additional years of SA experience in lieu of degree
