Job Description

Candidates must already possess an active Top Secret/SCI w/ CI Polygraph to be considered. This is a future position anticipated for summer 2026.

Summary:
• Lead advanced Research and Development initiatives in systems engineering for satellite and communications systems.
• Drive system development, integration, and data production and fusion activities.
• Evaluate novel concepts, formulate design specifications, and define critical engineering criteria.
• Address complex technical obstacles, synthesize diverse stakeholder requirements, and oversee program risk, cost, and schedule.
• Strategize, organize, and implement sophisticated system planning, perform capability analyses, and establish system flow-down requirements.

Qualifications & Compensation:
• Degree: Minimum B.S. degree in Mathematics, Engineering or Computer Science
• Years of experience: 3+ years
• Salary: $205k+ yearly compensation, pending final rate confirmation

Job Description:
• Lead Research and Development efforts within systems engineering for satellite and communications systems.
• Oversee system development, integration, and data production and fusion processes.
• Assess new technical concepts, formulate robust design solutions, and establish critical engineering criteria.
• Resolve complex technical challenges and integrate diverse stakeholder requirements effectively.
• Manage program risk, cost, and schedule to ensure successful project execution.
• Plan, organize, and execute advanced system planning activities.
• Conduct comprehensive capability analyses and develop detailed system flow-down requirements.
• Apply expertise in Dataflow, Requirements Analysis, and Mathematics to solve complex engineering problems.
• Demonstrate strong background in Systems Engineering and Integration and Test (I&T) methodologies.
• Provide effective Program Management and Technical Team Leadership.
