Bathymetric Imagery Analyst

The Bathymetric Imagery Analyst will be responsible for bathymetric data processing and analysis, generating intelligence products in the form of maps, datasets, reports, and presentation material, working directly with our Navy customer located at the NASA Stennis Space Center, MS.

Job Duties:

• Analyze bathymetric acoustic data with environmental intelligence data
• Analyze imagery and produce geospatial analysis
• Perform regional environmental summaries
• Digitize and annotate features into geospatial database
• Perform research and compile geospatial products
• Complete quality control and peer review checks

Required Experience:

• Bachelor's Degree in Geography, GIS, Physical Science, or relevant technical field
• Active TS/SCI clearance

Desired Qualifications:

• Experience with any:
  • Bathymetric and Acoustic Data processing
  • GIS concepts, Geoprocessing, Imagery analysis
  • Physical Oceanography concepts
  • Intelligence Products
  • Vector Collection and Geospatial databases
• Self-motivated yet able to work well within a development team
• Strong oral and written communication skills

Strong additional consideration for experience with:

• SonarWiz, Qimera, CARIS and MATLAB
• ESRI Technologies to include ArcGIS Pro, QGIS
• Python Scripting
