Location: Chantilly, VA (Preferred, but not required)
Work Arrangement: Flexible - onsite, hybrid, or remote options may be considered
Citizenship: U.S. Citizenship required
Security Clearance: Active Top Secret/SCI clearance preferred, but not required

This is a unique opportunity to collaborate with AWS technical teams and contribute to the development of innovative, mission-critical solutions for a diverse range of customers. Our Professional Services division supports high-visibility projects where developers play a key role in designing, building, and delivering scalable cloud-based applications.

Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable and secure software applications.
- Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including requirements analysis, coding, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions that meet customer needs.
- Contribute to the modernization of legacy systems and the development of cloud-based applications.
- Implement best practices for code quality, performance, and security.
- Support integration between various systems and services.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in development and production environments.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to technical documentation.
- Work effectively within Agile or iterative development environments.
- U.S. Citizenship.
- Proven experience in software development, building and maintaining enterprise-level applications.
- Proficiency in at least one modern programming language (e.g., Java, Python, C#, JavaScript, or similar).
- Experience with cloud-based or distributed systems.
- Familiarity with software development best practices, including version control, automated testing, and continuous integration.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
- Active Top Secret/SCI security clearance .
- Experience working with AWS or other cloud platforms.
- Familiarity with DevOps or automated deployment practices.
- Experience supporting federal or defense customers.
- Relevant industry certifications (e.g., AWS or other cloud certifications).
- Understanding of modern application architectures, such as microservices.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
