VMware Systems Administrator

Client Solution Architects (CSA) is currently seeking a System Administrator in Great Lakes, IL who specializes in administering and deploying VMware Sphere v7.0 and Horizon View 8 with a solid background in designing and documenting new infrastructure deployment to help us manage systems to support our Navy client in a secure modernized computer environment. 

For nearly 50 years, CSA has delivered integrated technology and operational support services to meet the defense and federal sector's most complex enterprise needs. Working from operations centers and shipyards to training sites and program offices, CSA deploys experienced teams, innovative tools and proven processes to advance federal missions.  

How Your Role Will Make an Impact:

• As a Systems Administrator on our team, you’ll ensure student training infrastructure is functional and available and the virtual desktops are properly configured. 
• You’ll help customers to overcome tough challenges through monitoring and performance management. 
• Your technical expertise will be vital as you identify problem areas and opportunities for improvement in a mission critical network. 
• Your experience and communication skills will come in handy as you turn metrics into information and communicate their meaning.

Requirements

What You Will Need to Join Our Award-Winning Team: 

• Clearance: Must possess and maintain an active secret level clearance.
• HS diploma or equivalent
• Years of Experience: 3 years of General Experience in Electronic Documentation, System Administration, Network Administration
• Certifications: DoD 8140 requirement (Sec+ or Bachelor's degree in a related field.)

 What Sets You Apart: 

• Experience with system administration supporting DoD network systems,
• Experience with Dell or Cisco UCS server management
• Experience with implementing VMware and Windows STIGs
• Experience with PowerShell, PowerCLI, or NaviCLI
• Experience with EMC VNX, XtremIO, or Unity storage arrays using fiber channel or FCoE
• Knowledge of DoD security compliance auditing, DoD hardening, RMF, STIGs, and PKI
• Bachelor's degree in CS, Computer Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field
• VMware Certified Professional – Data Center Virtualization Certification or higher
