Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes: 1) Managing project milestones, quality, and budget from initiation through construction and initial operations; 2) Coordinating multidisciplinary teams and customer/customer requirements and communicating project progress, issues, risks, and impacts; AND 3) Experience measuring and monitoring progress and allocating project funds to team members and contractors.
Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. For this job, you must meet the qualification requirement using experience alone--no substitution of education for experience is permitted.
Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-12).
Additional information
- Direct, coordinate and oversee multidisciplinary teams in the planning, design, and construction execution of assigned military programs projects
- Managing and communicating quality, scope, and budget of all projects.
- Managing and providing updates in P2 and other information systems for project milestones and activities
- Coordinate and lead higher level presentations and briefings as needed for the program.
- Representing the organization in meetings and conferences to present and support projects and the program.
