JIRA/Confluence Administrator
Mid-Level | El Segundo, CA (Onsite) | $70,000 - $110,000 | Active TS/SCI Clearance Required
Drive collaboration and workflow efficiency across mission-critical programs-administering and optimizing JIRA and Confluence environments that support U.S. Space Force operations.
A Day in the Life - What you'll do
• Administer and manage JIRA and Confluence environments, including user access, permissions, configurations, and system settings
• Customize JIRA workflows, fields, dashboards, and reports to align with program and business requirements
• Configure and maintain Confluence spaces, templates, macros, and plugins to enable effective knowledge management and team collaboration
• Provide user support, troubleshooting, and training for JIRA and Confluence platforms across cross-functional teams
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and implement scalable solutions within Atlassian tools
• Monitor system performance, identify improvement opportunities, and implement enhancements to optimize usability and efficiency
• Maintain documentation for configurations, processes, and best practices
• Stay current with Atlassian updates, features, and industry best practices to continuously improve platform capabilities
Required Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
• Active U.S. Government Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility (U.S. Citizenship required)
• 4+ years of experience supporting DoD program acquisition environments
• 1+ years of hands-on experience administering JIRA and/or Confluence
• Proven experience configuring JIRA workflows, permissions, and system settings
• Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and implementation within JIRA
• Experience using Confluence for documentation, collaboration, and knowledge management
• Strong communication skills with the ability to support and train users at all levels
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and within team environments
Preferred Qualifications
• JIRA and/or Confluence certifications
• Experience supporting U.S. Space Force or similar DoD environments
• Experience implementing advanced reporting, dashboards, and automation within JIRA
• Familiarity with plugins and integrations within the Atlassian ecosystem
Work Environment
• Location: On-site - United States Space Force Base, El Segundo, CA
• Travel: Minimal
• Schedule: Standard business hours
