Program Overview
The program requires innovative and motivated engineers to build software-intensive systems that support data processing, planning, and dissemination for complex platforms such as satellites and ground systems. The environment leverages Agile methodologies and modern cloud technologies.
Key Responsibilities
• Analyze high-level customer requirements and translate them into detailed functional specifications
• Design, develop, and test software (unit, integration, functional, and system testing)
• Develop and maintain front-end user interfaces integrated with cloud-based backend systems
• Troubleshoot and resolve software issues across applications
Present software designs and demonstrate functionality to stakeholders and end users
• Contribute to distributed system architecture and scalable application development
• Collaborate with UX designers and cross-functional teams
• Support development of multi-tiered, consumer-facing web applications
• Participate in occasional business travel and after-hours support as required
Required Qualifications
• Active Top Secret Clearance with SCI eligibility (must be active within last 24 months)
• 3+ years of experience in object-oriented design and software development patterns
• Experience with Git version control
• Strong experience in full-stack development
• Ability to work in Agile/DevSecOps environments
Education & Experience
• Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, or
related field
• Typically 9+ years of relevant experience (or equivalent combination of education and experience such
as Master’s + 7 years, PhD + 4 years)
• ABET accreditation preferred (not mandatory)
