SciTec is seeking a Senior Program Manager to lead and oversee integration and test activities for complex, mission-critical software systems within a defense environment. This role is responsible for ensuring that system integration, verification, and validation efforts are executed with rigor, aligned to program objectives, and delivered on schedule and within budget.
The ideal candidate brings strong experience managing software-intensive defense programs, with the ability to coordinate across technical teams, manage risk, and drive execution in a fast-paced, multi-stakeholder environment.

The pay range for this position is $176,000 to $223,000 per year. Responsibilities
- Lead planning and execution of integration and test activities across the program lifecycle
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans, including schedule, resources, risks, and dependencies
- Coordinate across engineering, test, infrastructure, and program teams to ensure integrated system readiness
- Manage and track integration milestones, test events, and verification activities
- Identify, assess, and mitigate program risks, particularly those related to integration and test
- Drive change management activities, including analysis of impacts to scope, schedule, and cost
- Support technical leadership in requirements management, roadmap alignment, and execution planning
- Prepare and deliver program status reports, translating technical progress into actionable insights for leadership and customers
- Manage stakeholder relationships, including government customers, subcontractors, and internal leadership
- Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and program execution quality
- Support program reviews, demonstrations, and external engagements
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business, or related field
- 20+ years of professional experience in supporting software development efforts
- Experience managing large, complex software or systems integration programs
- Experience with resource planning and staffing across multi-disciplinary teams
- Strong problem-solving skills in complex, technical environments
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Active Top Secret/SCI DoD Secret clearance
Candidates who have any of the following skills will be preferred:
- Experience leading or supporting integration and test-focused programs
- Experience managing subcontractors and external partners
- Experience supporting mission systems, space, or missile warning programs
