ASRC Federal NetCentric is actively seeking a Logistics Analyst to join our team. The role will assist the region with fleet and property management by conducting assessments, solving problems, working on actionable events and/or other program issues under review, within the deadlines and time frames assigned by HQ for completion.
This role will conduct all work in compliance with fleet and/or asset management regulations, policies, and procedures. Knowledge of FPS fleet and property management systems is essential. This is a fully on-site position in Alexandria, VA.

ASRC Federal NetCentric is actively seeking a Logistics Analyst to join our team. The role will assist the region with fleet and property management by conducting assessments, solving problems, working on actionable events and/or other program issues under review, within the deadlines and time frames assigned by HQ for completion.
This role will conduct all work in compliance with fleet and/or asset management regulations, policies, and procedures. Knowledge of FPS fleet and property management systems is essential. This is a fully on-site position in Alexandria, VA.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in transporting government furnished equipment from other FPS locations within the NCR.
- Assist with both receiving and shipping equipment.
- Conduct property audits, bar coding, and property excess and transfers.
- Provide logistical support to field operation as required on a continuous basis.
- Monitor daily inventory of all government furnished equipment, supplies, and equipment, signing for incoming/outgoing parcel packages.
- Assist with the completion of Ad-Hoc FPS Logistics related tasks reports & responses.
- Must maintain items in the SAMS inventory daily.
- Prepare vehicle maintenance reports, monthly mileage reports, and vehicle checklists.
- Ensure compliance with fleet and/or asset management regulations, policies, and procedures for retiring (disposing) equipment associated with specialized vehicles (e.g., law enforcement equipment including radios, sirens, and laptops).
- Ensure license plates, emission testing and safety inspection stickers are current in accordance with state and local requirements and are affixed to the vehicle.
- Configure iPhones.
- Complete daily updates in SAMS inventory system regarding property (IT equipment) and run baseline reports for ongoing inventory tracking.
- Move and install standalone printers for users.
- Work with the Smart-Boards to ensure they are accurately running for personnel in all conference rooms as needed by the customer.
- Assist with LAN Account Request Process for new users.
- Assist with reviewing FPS GSA leased, and agency owned vehicles weekly inventory status.
- Assist with tracking law enforcement vehicles radio and equipment status.
- Assist with WMS User Account Request Process for new users.
- Position may require extended work hours periodically to perform mission critical task assignments as requested from the FPS COR to the CO.
Education and Experience:
- A Bachelor's Degree preferred.
- 6 years' experience in fleet and property management experience
Required Skills and Competencies:
- Strong customer service skills- ability to communicate effectively with the customer
- Strong knowledge of FPS fleet and property management
- IT computer/ software support experience- to include setting up laptops and cell phone devices
- Examples of tools would include Visio, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Azure, and Jira
- Documentation of business requirements. Examples of documentation include business requirement specifications (BSR), workflow diagrams, context diagrams, use cases, and user stories.
- Understanding of user interfaces and most common approaches found in GUIs
- Presentation of requirements findings and mockups for review with sponsors and end users.
- Ability to understand formulas used in financial calculations and to describe relevant workflows.
- Business Process analysis skills.
- Experience working with Smartboard and other conferencing devices for on-call support needed for the customer
- Ability to lift heavy boxes on and off shelving and place into vehicle
- Safe driving and transport record
Desired Skills:
- Familiarity with asset management and tracking
- Familiarity with navigating the DMV area for asset delivery
