Candidates must already possess an active Top Secret/SCI w/ Full Scope Polygraph to be considered.
Summary:
• Lead the full life cycle development, maintenance, and enhancement of complex software systems.
• Apply expertise across software development, software architecture, and systems engineering principles.
• Specialize in algorithm development, requirements analysis, and comprehensive software testing methodologies.
• Oversee database engineering and dataflow analysis while providing technical team leadership.
• Integrate hardware engineering considerations into software design and implementation.
Qualifications & Compensation:
- Degree: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering or related discipline. A degree may be substituted for 4 additional years of experience.
- Years of experience: 12+ years
- Salary: $306k+ yearly compensation
Job Description:
• Perform full life cycle software development, from concept to deployment and maintenance.
• Design, develop, and maintain complex software systems, ensuring high performance and reliability.
• Conduct thorough requirements analysis and translate user needs into technical specifications.
• Develop and implement advanced algorithms for specialized applications and system optimization.
• Apply expertise in software architecture to design scalable, secure, and efficient systems.
• Execute comprehensive software testing, including unit, integration, and system-level testing.
• Provide technical team leadership, mentoring engineers and guiding project execution.
• Manage database engineering tasks, including design, development, and maintenance of SQL databases.
• Analyze and optimize dataflow within complex systems to improve efficiency and performance.
• Collaborate on hardware engineering considerations, particularly for embedded systems integration.
• Produce clear, concise, and professional communications and technical documentation.
• Apply strong mathematics skills for problem-solving, analysis, and system design.
• Utilize systems engineering principles to ensure system integrity, interoperability, and performance.
