Summary:
• Develop and maintain complex software systems, processing-intensive analytics, and large data sets.
• Lead algorithm development, software testing, and requirements analysis.
• Provide technical leadership to a development team.
• Utilize cloud-based analytics, big data, and distributed computing technologies.
• Design software, engineer databases, perform data querying, and improve software development processes and documentation.
Qualifications & Compensation:
• Degree: Technical bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• Years of experience: 14+ years
• Salary: $305k+ yearly compensation
Job Description:
• Lead the development and maintenance of complex software systems, applying robust software architecture principles.
• Drive algorithm development for processing-intensive analytics and large-scale data solutions.
• Conduct comprehensive software testing, including integration testing, to ensure system quality and performance.
• Perform in-depth requirements analysis to define, refine, and manage system specifications.
• Provide technical team leadership, mentoring engineers, and guiding project execution.
• Architect and implement solutions utilizing cloud repository, big data, and high-performance computing (HPC) environments.
• Expertise in distributed computing technologies such as Apache Spark, Map Reduce, and SQL.
• Design, engineer, and optimize databases and dataflow pipelines.
• Engage in systems engineering and hardware engineering considerations for optimal software performance.
• Apply data science and advanced mathematical principles to complex problem-solving.
• Improve software development processes and ensure clear communications and technical writing for documentation.
