Summary:
• Oversee and manage Linux server environments, network infrastructure, and virtual machine hardware resources.
• Implement comprehensive system lifecycle management, including configuration, ongoing maintenance, monitoring, and patching.
• Lead hardware and software integration efforts, ensuring seamless operation and adherence to stringent security compliance controls.
• Leverage deep expertise in Linux systems administration, automation tools, networking, and virtualization technologies to maintain robust and secure operations.
Qualifications & Compensation:
Degree: Technical bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
Years of experience: 10+ years
Salary: $233k+ yearly compensation
Job Description:
• Manage and administer Linux server environments, ensuring optimal performance and availability.
• Oversee and maintain networking resources, including router configuration and network protocol implementation.
• Administer and support virtual machine (VM) hardware and associated virtualization technologies.
• Perform system configuration, maintenance, monitoring, and patching in accordance with established policies.
• Lead the integration of new hardware and software components into existing infrastructure.
• Implement and enforce system security controls and ensure continuous compliance.
• Utilize expertise in Linux and Systems Administration (Linux) for advanced system management.
• Apply knowledge of Nagios for system monitoring.
• Develop and implement automation scripts using Python, Perl, Ansible, and Salt.
• Configure and maintain network infrastructure components, including CISCO Routers and Juniper Routers.
• Administer VMWare environments and related virtualization technologies.
• Implement and uphold robust System Security measures and Network Protocols.
