Join our dynamic team as a Tools Engineer, where you will play a pivotal role in enhancing the performance and security of our Enterprise Infrastructure Services (EIS). You will be at the forefront of building advanced analytics, leveraging Authoritative Data Sources (ADS) and cutting-edge technologies like machine learning. As an integral member of the DNS, DHCP, IPAM (DDI) Operations Team, you will contribute to real-time health and status monitoring, ensuring our infrastructure remains robust and efficient.

Pay Range :
There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. Responsibilities
- Design and Implement Solutions: Create secure and scalable DNS, DHCP, and IPAM (DDI) solutions using Infoblox DDI.
- Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve complex DDI issues promptly.
- Automation: Automate DDI workflows to enhance operational efficiency.
- Technical Guidance: Provide expert advice and support to internal teams on all aspects of DDI, including IPv4 and IPv6.
- Feature Maintenance: Stay updated with the latest Infoblox DDI features and best practices.
- Requirements Management: Automate requirements management, change management, requirements gathering/tracking, and configuration management.
- Collaboration: Work with various infrastructure support teams to identify, engineer, and implement integrated automation solutions.
Qualifications
Required
- Active TS/SCI w/ Polygraph
- Bachelor's degree in a technical or business discipline. Four years of additional experience may substitute for a bachelor's degree.
- 14+ years combined experience as a software engineer, system engineer, system administrator, or configuration management engineer.
- 8+ years of experience as a Tools Engineer in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.
- Certification: DOD8570-M, IAT Level 1
- Experience:
- DNS, DHCP, IPAM, Load Balancing (F5/DTC)
- Outages, latency issues, and troubleshooting
- Designing and implementing DDI solutions
- Load balancing technologies
- Skills:
- Strong understanding of networking concepts, including IPv4 and IPv6
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Experience with scripting (Perl, Python) and automation tools (Ansible) a plus
Desired
- DNS Experience: Administration of Infoblox
- Trouble Tickets: Experience with Infoblox trouble tickets
- In-Depth Knowledge: Comprehensive understanding of Infoblox DDI (DNS, DHCP, IPAM)
