The Opportunity :
As a CACI-Mission & Engineering Services Special Operations Planner, you will play a critical role in facilitating, synchronizing, and integrating operations-level planning in direct support of a United States Special Operations Command (USSOCOM) Joint Task Force (JTF). You will provide dedicated planning support for activities within multiple Combatant Command Areas of Responsibility (AOR).
Responsibilities :
In this position, you will be embedded with Special Operations Forces (SOF) to oversee and enhance operational effectiveness across multiple Combatant Command AORs. You will ensure the development and coordination of mitigation strategies in response to evolving requirements. Leveraging your expertise in Irregular Warfare, Unrestricted Warfare, and Hybrid Warfare, you will identify, plan, propose, integrate, and evaluate specialized capabilities tailored for each unique operational scenario.
Your role includes close collaboration with inter-agency partners, multinational forces, and key stakeholders to ensure unified planning efforts. You will leverage advanced operational tools, specialized planning methodologies, and emerging technologies to enhance mission planning and execution. Your planning efforts will directly contribute to successful SOF operations across diverse geopolitical environments.

Qualifications :
Required:
- Current Top Secret/SCI clearance with eligibility for SAP access and willingness to undergo a polygraph examination as required
- Bachelor's degree and at least 7 years of experience, OR 12 years of relevant work experience in lieu of degree
- Over five years of specialized experience supporting military or Intelligence Community compartmented activities (e.g., IJSTO, SAP, ACCM)
- Demonstrated experience with the Joint Planning Process (JPP) and Joint Operation Planning and Execution System (JOPES)
- Proficient oral and written communication skills
- Ability to provide daily feedback to team leads and supported units on product development
- Practical understanding of Microsoft SharePoint and web-based intelligence tools and databases accessed via SIPR and JWICS
Desired:
- More than five years' experience working with SOF, SMU, Special or Technical Units of Federal, State, or Local Law Enforcement, or at the GCC/TSOC staff level
- Proficient in the Military Decision-Making Process (MDMP), including mission analysis, COA decision and CONOP approval briefings, D3A execution matrices, CONOP documents, and FRAGOs
- Experience in cyber and information operations planning
- Demonstrated awareness of current geopolitical issues impacting special operations
- Proficient with Microsoft productivity software and applications
- Ability to work independently with minimal government oversight and effectively within a joint, multi-disciplinary team environment
