Candidates must already possess an active Top Secret/SCI w/ Full Scope Polygraph to be considered.
Summary:
• Oversee the administration and maintenance of Linux server environments.
• Manage and optimize VMWare virtualization infrastructure, ensuring high availability and performance.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive network topology diagrams for documentation and planning.
• Implement and configure Layer 2 and Layer 3 Virtual Private Networks (VPNs) within an MPLS network architecture.
• Perform robust network IP address management, including planning, allocation, and tracking.
Qualifications & Compensation:
Degree: Technical bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
Years of experience: 13+ years
Salary: $280k+ yearly compensation
Job Description:
• Administer, monitor, and troubleshoot Linux operating systems and associated services.
• Design, deploy, and maintain VMWare virtualization platforms, including ESXi and vCenter.
• Create, update, and maintain detailed network topology diagrams and other infrastructure documentation.
• Configure and implement L2 and L3 VPN tunnels over an existing MPLS backbone.
• Manage and maintain network IP address space, ensuring efficient utilization and preventing conflicts.
• Leverage expertise in Linux for server operations and VMWare for virtualized environments.
