Candidates must already possess an active Top Secret/SCI w/ Full Scope Polygraph to be considered.
Summary:
• Manage and maintain Linux server environments, ensuring optimal performance and security.
• Oversee virtual infrastructure operations, primarily utilizing VMWare technologies.
• Implement and maintain secure network connectivity solutions, including L2 and L3 VPNs.
• Administer and optimize network IP address schemes within an MPLS network framework.
Qualifications & Compensation:
Degree: Technical bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
Years of experience: 13+ years
Salary: $280k+ yearly compensation
Job Description:
• Perform advanced systems administration tasks for Linux servers.
• Design, deploy, and manage virtual environments using VMWare vSphere and related technologies.
• Implement, configure, and troubleshoot L2 and L3 VPN connections across an MPLS network.
• Manage and allocate network IP addresses, ensuring efficient utilization and proper routing.
• Apply in-depth knowledge of network protocols to ensure robust and secure network operations.
• Monitor system and network performance, identifying and resolving complex issues proactively.
• Develop and maintain documentation for system configurations, network diagrams, and operational procedures.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate new technologies and improve existing infrastructure.
