What We're Looking For
As a System Administrator at CyberPoint, you will provide advanced operational and security-focused system administration across mission-critical environments. You'll be responsible for maintaining system compliance, supporting accreditation activities and ensuring the reliability and performance of enterprise infrastructure

This role requires strong experience in Linux administration, vulnerability remediation and automation, along with the ability to support both day-to-day operations and security control assessments. You'll work closely with ISSOs, engineers and operations teams to ensure systems meet mission and compliance requirements.

What You'll Do
  • Perform system patching and updates across Linux environments to address security findings
  • Manage user accounts, permissions and access controls to meet mission and security requirements
  • Monitor system health and performance using tools such as Nagios
  • Apply and maintain compliance with STIGs and remediate vulnerabilities identified through STE/STN findings
  • Renew and manage Linux server certificates and maintain current TLS configurations
  • Support Security Control Assessments (SCA) by working with ISSOs and validating SCTM requirements
  • Automate system administration tasks using tools such as Ansible
  • Maintain and update technical documentation, SOPs and knowledge base articles in Confluence
  • Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 support, including troubleshooting and resolving system issues
  • Support day-to-day operations across client, server, storage and network systems
  • Configure, manage and maintain Linux, Windows and UNIX operating systems
  • Install, patch and upgrade operating systems to ensure compliance and performance
  • Troubleshoot system and network issues and implement enhancements to improve reliability
  • Support system design and mission architecture in coordination with engineering teams
This position is 100% onsite and requires an active TS/SCI+FSP Security Clearance. Qualifications

What You'll Need
  • US Citizenship
  • Active TS/SCI + Full Scope Polygraph
  • Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • IAT Level II Certification (eg Security+, CE, CySA+ GSEC, SSCP or equivalent)
  • Extensive experience with Linux system administration in secure environments
  • Experience with system patching, vulnerability remediation and STIG compliance
  • Experience supporting Security Control Assessments (SCA) and working with ISSOs
  • Familiarity with SCTMs and security control validation processes
  • Experience with monitoring tools such as Nagios
  • Experience with automation tools such as Ansible
  • Experience managing certificates and TLS configurations
  • Ability to provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 system support
  • Experience administering Windows and UNIX systems

What Will Set You Apart
  • Experience with VMware virtualization technologies
  • Strong background in compliance-driven environments (RMF, STIG hardening, vulnerability management)
  • Experience supporting large-scale enterprise or mission systems
  • Strong troubleshooting skills across infrastructure, applications and network components
  • Experience improving operational processes and documentation practices
  • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across technical security teams
