As a System Administrator at CyberPoint, you will provide hands-on support for mission-critical systems, ensuring reliability, performance and operational continuity. You'll work across both user support and system administration functions, handling Tier 1 and Tier 2 issues while contributing to system improvements and stability.
This role is ideal for someone with a strong foundation in Linux and Windows environments who is comfortable troubleshooting, scripting and supporting a mix of infrastructure and end-user needs.

What You'll Do
- Provide Tier 1 (Help Desk) support for initial issue identification and resolution
- Handle Tier 2 escalations, troubleshooting more complex system and user issues
- Configure, manage and maintain Linux/UNIX and Windows operating systems
- Support Windows 10/11 and Windows Server 2022 environments
- Perform system updates, patching and maintenance to ensure performance and security
- Troubleshoot system updates, patching and maintenance to ensure performance and security
- Implement system enhancements to improve reliability and operational efficiency
- Utilize scripting (eg Bash) to automate routine system administration tasks
- Support day-to-day IT operations across systems and users
- Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to resolve issues and improve systems
What You'll Need
- US Citizenship
- Active TS/SCI + Full Scope Polygraph
- Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline or equivalent combination of education and experience
- IAT Level II Certification (eg Security+, CE, CySA+ GSEC, SSCP or equivalent)
- Experience supporting both Tier 1 and Tier 2 IT operations
- Intermediate experience with Linux system administration
- Experience administering Windows 10/11 and Windows Server 2022
- Experience troubleshooting system and user issues across environments
- Experience with scripting (eg Bash or similar)
- Ability to manage and configure operating systems and system components
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills

- Experience with AWS cloud environments
- Experience with automation and scripting beyond basic administration tasks
- Familiarity with system monitoring and performance tuning
- Experience in secure or mission-critical environments
- Strong communication skills and ability to work across technical teams
