Cloud Advisory Engineer

Top Skill Sets
• 5+ years of experience and Subject Matter Expertise in MS Azure administration and cloud architecture
• 5+ years of experience with evaluating MS Azure technical requirements, conducts engineering assessments, and provides strategic recommendations
• 5+ years of experience communicating with the user and their needs and then communicating the functional and technical requirements to the technical teams while maintaining business continuity with minimal to no impact to the end user.
• 5+ years of experience with implementing DISA (Defense Information Systems Agency) STIG (Security Technical Implementation Guide) configurations.
What You’ll Do
Act as the primary liaison between Mission Owners and technical teams during customer intake
Review intake forms and pre-engineering checklists to understand requirements
Conduct engineering assessments to evaluate architecture and cloud readiness
Provide recommendations for onboarding applications into Azure
Advise on Azure administration, system functionality, and business continuity
Estimate level of effort (LOE) for cloud transition efforts
What We’re Looking For
5+ years of experience in cloud engineering or a related field
Strong experience with Microsoft Azure and cloud architecture
Background in business systems analysis and gathering user requirements
Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevSecOps practices
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
