We are looking for a skilled and motivated Software Modernization Capital Project Sub Integrated Product Team Lead. In this position, you will oversee the strategy, execution, and deployment of GenAI assets for the SW organization. You will aid in oversight of programs to acquire approvals and deploy GenAI assets to their classified Information System (IS), while planning schedules and overseeing procurement of additional assets in support of these programs. This role will involve frequent collaboration with key stakeholders such as program management, Engagement Leads, the office of the chief engineer, Cybersecurity, and Digital Technology (DT). Additionally, you will be responsible for managing costs, schedules, and execution activities, including Estimate at Completion (EAC) reviews, proposal costing and leadership reviews, staffing projections, and monthly metrics tracking.

What You Will Do

  • Own the deployment of Capital Project assets - from procurement through deployment, for several programs
  • Coordinate across teams to aid in staging assets to a standardized GenAI configuration prior to delivery to programs
  • Collaborate with Program Managers, Chief Engineers, Test Architect, and multiple functions to support the deployment of assets across several programs within the SW portfolio
  • Develop a cohesive team capable of procurement, staging and deployment of assets
  • Manage cost and schedule for team - including managing EVMS for scope on Capital Projects
  • Leverage team and company best practices to improve scalability, consistency, reduce deployment time, and automate staging for future deployments
  • Travel is required to meet programmatic objectives. Occasional travel between Raytheon locations is required


Qualifications You Must Have

  • Typically requires BS/BA Degree in Science Technology, Engineering, Math (STEM) and a minimum 10 years of related work experience in Software, Engineering and/or Platform Engineering
  • Experience with Leadership across businesses, functions and disciplines
  • Experience and knowledge of GenAI and the desire to implement developmental objectives on a diverse portfolio of programs across the SW organization
  • Experience in software, design and architecture development, product installation, configuration, integration and deployment
  • Ability to obtain TS/SCI Security clearance required after Day 1. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance


Qualifications We Prefer

  • Experience with GenAI and its uses for SW development and/or testing.
  • Experience managing remote teams from diverse engineering disciplines.
  • Experience with DoD or similar major programs throughout the product lifecycle
  • Experience in cybersecurity and STIG evaluations
  • Experience managing cost, schedule and quality for technical projects

The salary range for this role is 132,400 USD - 251,600 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
