Advanced Products & Solutions (APS) - a strategic business unit (SBU) within Raytheon - is looking for a motivated finance professional to guide the strategy and investment of the APS portfolio. This individual will lead a team of two analysts working closely with Finance Strategy lead, FP&A Director and ultimately APS CFO. This finance manager position is an integral part of the FP&A team supporting the APS LT, CFO and President to optimize decision making across the organization.

What You Will Do
  • You will manage current year investments including Capital, Capital Associated Expense, New Business Investment, IRAD, Overhead, Inventory, & CFR. This includes burn rate analysis, functional alignment, quarterly EAC process execution, quarterly investment review preparation and presentation, and ad hoc reporting. You will also be the point of contact for the submittal of Appropriation Requests for Inventory requirements streamlining the process while ensuring compliance. This finance role must be able to interpret and ensure implementation of Raytheon financial policies and procedures.
  • You will also lead the Long-Range Plan process. Key aspects will include calendar development, bottoms up inputs and reviews with the SSBUs, cross functional alignment with the APS LT, market, growth analysis, with an emphasis on risk and opportunity identification. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment working with a small agile team to meet key review touchpoints throughout the process. The candidate will be able to quickly address ad hoc requests, anticipate and proactively address inconsistencies & data anomalies while working effectively with the Leadership Team. To effectively meet the required cadence, the candidate will have significant experience working in AO and excel to perform ad hoc analysis, troubleshoot reporting, provide variance analysis, and template development for the summation of data and inputs.
  • You will actively contribute to the development and mentorship of team members and support broader organizational development efforts. The selected candidate will regularly interact with the SSBU CFOs and FP&A leads, Functional Leadership team (Strategy and Technical Director), CFO and the APS President. The analysis provided by the candidate and his/her team will drive decisions that improve the APS organization and will be key to achieving our financial goals.
  • Coordinate the APS Long Range Plan (LRP) process and calendar.
  • Analyze, prepare, and make recommendations for the APS LRP Presentation to RTX / Corporate.
  • Provide financial support to APS functional LT including, R&C, Tech Director, & Strategy.
  • Manage and Analyze Investments across all colors of money.
  • Coordinate, analyze and present the Quarterly Capital EAC and Overhead Expense Forecast.
  • Lead the update and management of the MSP Pool.
  • Coordinate and analyze the balance sheet to include Unbilled, Billed CIP, & Inventory.
  • Support CORE initiatives and special projects focused on process improvement.


Qualifications You Must Have
  • Typically requires a bachelor's degree in finance or accounting or related field or equivalent experience and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years' experience.
  • Extensive experience with Excel (Including AO), Microsoft Word, and Power Point.
  • Hands-On experience with SAP Business Systems / BW Toolset or similar business systems.
  • The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued Secret security clearance is required.
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a Secret security clearance

The salary range for this role is 107,500 USD - 204,500 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
