The Land Warfare and Missile Defense Systems (LADS) department is seeking an Execution Chief Engineer (CE) to lead hardware development on the Patriot Product Line (PPL), focused on Battle Management, Command, Control, Communications, Computers and Intelligence (BMC4I). The PPL BMC4I IPT Execution CE will provide support to the PPL BMC4I IPT Chief Engineer providing structured execution leadership across the development portfolio. The BMC4I Execution CE will be responsible for system analysis, requirements development, hardware design, software design, integration thread development, system performance to include integration and test, and integrated sustainment plans on BMC4I products. This position will support customers from the United States Government (USG) and multiple Foreign Military Sales (FMS) and Direct Commercial Sale (DCS) Patriot contracts and future FMS/DCS pursuits.
This is an onsite position based in Tewksbury, MA and may require occasional travel. The selected candidate will be assigned to the Land and Air Defense Systems strategic business unit.

The salary range for this role is 132,400 USD - 251,600 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. What You Will Do
- Support the PPL BMC4I IPT CE in their responsibilities as owner of technical execution of program scope.
- Ensure technical integrity and engineering execution across the Integrated Product Team (IPT) within the Program cost, schedule, technical requirements.
- Establish and maintain a consistent engineering execution rhythm, driving alignment, prioritization, and timely closure across Sub IPTs.
- Promote disciplined engineering practices and continuously improve processes to enhance efficiency, clarity, and consistency.
- Foster a collaborative engineering culture by mentoring technical leaders and subject matter experts, strengthening structured problem solving and communication across disciplines.
- Attend Product Line meetings to identify and drive Risk and Opportunity handling plans.
- Lead Engineering Program Review rollup and approvals in support of the Estimate-At-Complete (EAC) and Latest-Revised-Estimate (LRE) processes.
- Provide technical advisory disposition for Export / Import (EXIM) compliance.
- ~10% Domestic/International travel.
Qualifications You Must Have
- Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of ten (10) years of prior relevant experience.
- Experience in system design, development, integration/verification, production, and/or sustainment within Defense industry.
- Experience in product development, customer interface, and/or contract capture in the Defense Industry.
- Active and transferable U.S. government issued SECRET security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
Qualifications We Prefer
- Experience in Patriot Program (or other radar program) system design, development, integration/verification, production, and sustainment
- Experience with International FMS/DCS programs and International Supplier's/Partner's engineering execution
- Experience leading execution across complex, multi discipline engineering efforts with significant dependencies and competing priorities
- Experience in concepts of operations development and/or design of system level architecture
- Experience in design of system level architecture
- Experience with Engineering Risks and Opportunities (R&O) Management

- Existing Secret Clearance (DoD)
